Patricia Harrison Krueger was born and raised in a small town in rural Ohio, the second oldest of seven children. Her gift of artistic insight began to reveal itself during her early childhood years. Her father encouraged her to pursue her passion as early as age six. By the time she was ten, she had become a student of the renowned watercolor artist Franklin Bates, and later in her life she studied under the masterful award-winning artist and portrait painter James E. Seward. Today Patricia maintains a studio in Sterling, Ohio, where she paints portraits, inspirational works and other commissioned pieces.

Patricia has a highly attuned inner eye and a keen inner ear. She receives inspiration from God, and energy for her art from all the living sensations of life; sights, smells, sounds, tastes and feelings all serve as wellsprings for the images she creates.

She attributes her style to the influence of the great masters. Although she paints in an almost photo-realistic manner, the images she creates speak to the beholder in a far deeper language than a mere snapshot can convey. Her message is delivered in the faces of the children that she paints; her still life, landscapes, seascapes, portraits and allegorical works serve as a direct conduit from the eye to the soul. Each brushstroke laid upon the luminous surface of her canvas deepens the beauty and intensity of the image and the heart-feelings it evokes.

In her paintings and sculpture, Patricia strives to share with everyone her values and her vision. She realizes that nothing is as real as a dream, and says, "The world can change, but your dream will not. Because the dream is within you, no one can take it away. When we share our dreams, awake and with our eyes wide open, those dreams will come true."
